Bronto — The Gentle Giant
Brachiosaurus altithorax
Ten metres tall, and visible from the car park. Front legs longer than the back give Brachiosaurus its permanent upward tilt, letting it feed from treetops nothing else could reach. Bronto is the first animal most visitors meet and the one small children are least frightened of. He browses the canopy at the trail head all day.
